I provide counselling using a trauma-informed, person-centered perspective placing each person at the helm of their recovery. I am intentional creating a brave space that emphasizes safety, trust, and consent. I draw from a variety of intervention theories, however, counselling is likely to feel more like a conversation. Our work together may be challenging and it will also include humour and relatable pop culture references.

As a counsellor, I am genuine in who I am and what I am thinking. I see my role as one of support and guidance. Counselling is an active process and I am not going to sit there and nod. Within my practice, I teach skills and provide supportive guidance so you can take steps towards a meaningful life. As a person, I’m practical and I have a strong sense of humour so I bring those aspects into the counselling space.

I have a Master of Social Work degree with a Health and Social Care specialization from the University of British Columbia. From Memorial University, I have a Bachelor degree of Social Work, Bachelor of Arts degree with psychology major, and Certificate of Criminology.
